Cascades announce 2023 recruiting class

A new group of athletes are set to hit the pitch for UFV, as the Cascades women's soccer team announced its 2023 recruiting class on Friday. 13 athletes will join the Cascades' ranks for the upcoming Canada West season under head coach Ari Adams.

Addison Chen, Brooklynn Franzon, Dani Coss, Dessa Peterson, Eesha Mudaliar, Kaitlyn Colmer, Kiana Langston, Madison Telmer, Meadow Work, Rylan Gray, Simone Nagasaki, Taylor Hildebrand, and Alana Madec will all join the program for the upcoming season.

"This year's recruiting class is not only made up of top players within BC's Premier League, but also includes out of province and out of country talent," noted Adams. "With 13 incoming first-year students, the program will have greater positional depth and ability to compete with tough Canada West opponents."

The Cascades embark on their 2023 Canada West season on August 25 with a visit to the UBC Thunderbirds. After a run of away games to start the season, UFV will host the University of Saskatchewan Huskies for their home opener on September 22.
