CBC Game of the Week

The live excitement of Canada West athletics is now on CBC Sports.

Canada West and CBC Sports have announced a new streaming deal that will bring fans a pair of featured ‘Games of the Week’ every weekend throughout the remainder of the 2023-24 season. The schedule features several high-profile basketball, volleyball and hockey rivalries, and culminates with six championship playoff games.

Fans will be able to view games on the free CBC Gem streaming service, cbcsports.ca and the CBC Sports app for iOS and Android devices.

The schedule includes 20 games total, showcasing the best talent from across the conference’s 17 member schools.

“We’re thrilled to bring the excitement of Canada West competition to CBC Sports’ digital platforms,” says Jamin Heller, Associate Director, Communications & Marketing for Canada West. “Our elite student-athletes work hard to be at the top of their game, and we’re excited for the opportunity to showcase their talents to a national audience.”

Fans wanting to catch every CW game live and on demand can do so through streaming packages or single-game tickets on Canada West TV.
